The Krewe of Centaur is one of the largest, single parading Mardi Gras krewes in the State of Louisiana, located in Shreveport, LA. Established in 1991, it has grown to over 500 members, with 30 throwing floats, and puts on the largest parade in North Louisiana, and is about the 2nd largest single parading Krewe in Louisiana. Over 1 1/2 MILLION throws are thrown in our parade. This photo gallery includes a pictoral exposition, of our meetings, events, prep and actual parades.

Members are encouraged to add to this collection by sending their photos to webmaster@KreweOfCentaur.org. Photographs received become the property of the Krewe and will be available for resale. Contributed photos are assumed to be the work of the contributor and that the contributor has full ownership and rights to release them to the Krewe, and understand that they are releasing ownership by contributing them to the Krewe.

*** A note to the 'photo critics': On most professional Photographer's sites, the photos on display have been cropped, touched up (in photoshop-lightroom) and only the 'best of the best' are displayed, giving the impression that every photo taken by this photographer is FANTASTIC!. Well, not here. Everybody's taste is slightly different, so what one might crop, someone else may want the entire background. What might be slightly out of focus, or blurred due to motion and low light, could still record an occurence desired for archival purposes. So, ALL of the photos taken are displayed, unaltered, and not cropped. If you wish to purchase a picture, YOU can crop it any way you like, through the sales cart. If you want to alter a photo, you can order the actual photo file by purchasing a personal or commercial license, through the sales cart. The tiny, transparent Centaur Logo, in the lower right corner of each photo is only there to discourage folks from 'stealing' pics, and will NOT appear on purchased, printed photos.
